Hi Katie! Oh I can’t wait to read your reflections on the movie. I’m still wanting to talk about it. To anyone who will listen 🙃

So many golden nuggets in this film.

Thanks for sliding in here.

Will watch! I really miss the pixar movies now that my kids are older but you're right, it doesn't matter.

I still haven’t seen the second one yet—all my clients are understandably horrified. It’s like my professional duty to see it but I gotta wait til I can go with Archie—and I know it’s just gonna level me. I can’t wait.

All the parts…just trying to help. Every single one of them little ones.

“$10 but we’ll take $5” 😉 (so so so good. directness all the way!)

Oh get ready. It will level you. 😅

In all the best ways.

My mom wants to see it and I told her I’d take her next week. Sans kids. I mean - it’s sort of ridiculous how much I want to scream from the rafters about this movie.

And thanks for listening to the Nora episode. Yeah, that story will follow my daughter around for decades!

Hi Allison, You know at first I thought in your Note you were referring to the animated film, :"Big Red" which is about feelings and inner child, etc, too but now I feel like I need to see both of the Inside Out movies. Loved all your reflections on this and how it validated your little girl's big feelings. And I appreciated reading your "gold stars" essay again. It's such a good one.

Thanks Amy. I do believe there is something for everyone in both Inside Out films. I mean, we were all kids once and let’s be honest - we’re still tending to that little kid inside us that stomps around from time to time, right?

Thanks for always supporting my work. 🫶

Convinced I need to see both movies.

I love this line so much - “Because maybe what I want wants me.” This is why I know it’s okay to want more. Especially because intentions are pure. Keep going, Allison!

Ah, thanks Marc. That means a whole lot. Truly.

Yes to believing that what we want wants us! ✨

And I feel like I know you well enough by now that it will get dusty when you watch these 2 movies. 🙃

I haven't seen Inside Out, but what a cool entry point for having conversations about emotions and normalizing complex, sometimes scary feelings. Love that both your 10-year-old and 17-year-old came along! ❤️

It is an excellent entry point. I have a lot of feelings about the movie about feelings! 😅 and I was so grateful my kids were next to me for it.
